Canara Bank started awarding additional 1000 Bonus Reward Points to 💳 Credit Card Customers

Canara Bank started awarding additional 1000 bonus reward points to Credit Card customers for usage of Rs.30,000/- or above, as incentive for festive season.

As per the extent feature of credit card related to reward/loyalty points, 2 reward points will be earned on every Rs. 100/- spent on credit cards (not applicable on fuel transactions and cash withdrawals). Fractions of Rs. 100/- will be omitted. In addition, bank have awarded 1000 bonus reward points to all the credit card holders as incentive based on linked transactions for period 01.07.2023 to 30.09.2023 on the card.

💳 Bonus Reward Points based on the card transactions threshold

1. First 500 bonus reward points can be redeemed when the total transaction threshold crosses Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only).
2. Next 500 bonus reward points can be redeemed when the total transaction threshold crosses Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only).
3. Only Successful purchase transactions, Utility payment, Cash withdrawal and UPI payments on Credit Cards are taken into account for the transaction threshold.

Every existing and new Canara Credit Card holder will be awarded special 1000 bonus reward points upfront added to his account. The special bonus reward points awarded to the customer shall be linked to purchase transactions carried out by the customer and can be redeemed in installments based on the card transaction threshold as below:

🎯 Special Bonus Reward Points

For the card holder, who has already done the transaction of Rs 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) or more in the period (01.07.2023 to 30.09.2023), the card holder has already received 1000 additional reward points. If the card holder does the cumulative transactions of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) or more in the festive period (01.10.2023 to 31.12.2023), additional 1000 Reward points will be available to the card holder to redeem additionally.

If the new card holder does the cumulative transactions of Rs 30,000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) or more in the festive period (01.10.2023 to 31.12.2023), additional 2000 Bonus reward points will be available to the card holder to redeem.

For the card holder, who has already done the transaction of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) or more but less than Rs 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) in the period (01.07.2023-30.09.2023), the card holder has already received 500 additional reward points. If the card holder does the cumulative transactions of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) or more in the period (01.07.2023 – 31.12.2023), additional 1500 Bonus reward points will be available to the card holder to redeem.

For the card holder, who has already done the transaction less than Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) in the period (01.07.2023-30.09.2023), if the card holder does the cumulative transactions of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) or more in the period (01.07.2023 – 31.12.2023), additional 2000 Bonus reward points will be available to the card holder to redeem.

• This Special bonus points also carry the same value i.e. Rs. 0.25/- (Paise Twenty Five only) per bonus point.
• Only Successful purchase transactions, Utility payment, Cash withdrawal and UPI payments on Credit Cards are taken into account for the transaction threshold.
• Validity of reward points is 3 years from the date of accrual.

🎁 Known Features on the Canara Reward Points on Credit Cards:

1. All Canara Credit Cards (except for corporate credit cards) will be eligible for reward/loyalty points.
2. Two reward points will be earned on every Rs. 100 spent on credit cards (not applicable on fuel transactions and cash withdrawals).
3. Value of each reward point is Rs. 0.25.
4. Validity of reward points is 3 years from the date of accrual.
5. Customer can register/login to Canara Rewardz Portal (www.canararewardz.com) to view/ redeem their reward points.
6. They can also opt for cashback with minimum of 1000 points in multiples of 100, which will be credited to Credit card in the subsequent month statement.
7. Customer can reach out to Canara Rewardz customer care at 1800 419 3018 through their registered mobile number linked to credit card account for any queries / opt for cashback.
8. Above toll free number will be available from Monday to Saturday between 9 AM – 6 PM.

10. Additional processing fee for redemption of points are applicable for recharge, purchase of merchandise etc. and the same will be displayed during the redemption process at Canara Rewardz portal.
11. Transfer of points is not allowed from one card to another unless the card is reissued or swapped.
12. Any unused reward points in the card will be lapsed once the card is closed/surrendered.
