  1. Master Card/ Rupay - 18th of every month
  2. Visa - 20th of every month

To comply with regulatory requirements and enhance customer convenience, Canara Bank introduced additional billing cycle as outlined below:

  1. MasterCard/ Rupay
    Billing date: 14th of every month
    Payment Due Date: 4th of succeeding month
  2. Visa
    Billing date: 16th of every month
    Payment Due Date: 6th of succeeding month

Customer can now request a change in their billing cycle through branch. The option will also be introduced in other channels (Mobile/Internet Banking) subsequently.

Conditions for Existing Customers:

  1. No existing billing cycle change request should be pending.
  2. At least one billing cycle should be completed before billing cycle change request.
  3. Card should not be in overdue status
  4. Billing cycle change should be allowed only once.
  5. There should be no outstanding balance on the card.
  6. There should not be any ongoing EMI on the card.
  7. There should not be any accrued interest.
  8. Card status should be Open/Temporarily Blocked.
  9. Card should not have any open request for Reissue, Replacement and Swap.

3. Canara Prepaid Plus Card

Canara Prepaid Plus Card is a Full-KYC PPI and reloadable in nature up to maximum limit of ₹2,00,000. As per RBI guidelines for enhanced security on card transactions, cards issued are enabled for Domestic usage by default at ATMs & POS only. Domestic Prepaid cardholders can enable or disable their card limit for different channel (ATM/ POS/ E-Commerce) through branches within the maximum available limit.

In view of availability of all the features of Canara Saathi App in addition to other feature in ai1 app, Canara Bank closed the Canara Saathi app and Web Portal w.e.f. 15-02-2024. No.12/7/2023-JCA dated 18th January 2024 have informed that the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22.01.2024 across India and to enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 14.30 hours on 22.01.2024.

Further, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide F. No.1/41/2003-BO.II dated 18.01.2024 have informed that the above said DoPT’s order shall, amongst others, also apply to Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks to enable employees to participate in the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha celebrations.

In view of the above, Canara Bank shall remain closed for half-day (till 2.30 pm) on 22.01.2024.
