Introduction of option to modify Credit Card billing cycle

Currently, Canara Bank offers a single billing date to customer, based on the Network type:

Master Card/ Rupay - 18th of every month
Visa - 20th of every month

To comply with regulatory requirements and enhance customer convenience, Canara Bank introduced additional billing cycle as outlined below:

MasterCard/ Rupay
Billing date: 14th of every month
Payment Due Date: 4th of succeeding month
Visa
Billing date: 16th of every month
Payment Due Date: 6th of succeeding month

Customer can now request a change in their billing cycle through branch. The option will also be introduced in other channels (Mobile/Internet Banking) subsequently.

Conditions for Existing Customers:

No existing billing cycle change request should be pending.
At least one billing cycle should be completed before billing cycle change request.
Card should not be in overdue status
Billing cycle change should be allowed only once.
There should be no outstanding balance on the card.
There should not be any ongoing EMI on the card.
There should not be any accrued interest.
Card status should be Open/Temporarily Blocked.
Card should not have any open request for Reissue, Replacement and Swap.

Canara Bank increases Daily Limits for POS and E-commerce Transactions on Prepaid Plus Cards

Currently, Canara Bank is issuing three variants of Domestic Prepaid cards to Customers under different variants with defined limits as mentioned below:

1. Canara Prepaid Gift Card
2. Canara Prepaid Classic Card
3. Canara Prepaid Plus Card

Canara Prepaid Plus Card is a Full-KYC PPI and reloadable in nature up to maximum limit of ₹2,00,000. As per RBI guidelines for enhanced security on card transactions, cards issued are enabled for Domestic usage by default at ATMs & POS only. Domestic Prepaid cardholders can enable or disable their card limit for different channel (ATM/ POS/ E-Commerce) through branches within the maximum available limit.

Closure of the Canara Saathi App and Web Portal!

Canara Bank was providing digital services to credit card holder through Canara Saathi App, Web Portal. Customer were able to view and manage the card details in Canara Saathi App, Canara Saathi Web Portal (https://ccapp.canarabank.in/)

All the existing Canara Saathi features are available in Ai1 App. In addition to these feature, Ai1 App provide below mention additional features:

Card Control - Enable/Disable cards for different types of POS/E-com, contact, contact-less domestically or internationally
Enhanced Card Profile
Canara Rewards integration
EMI conversion option

In view of availability of all the features of Canara Saathi App in addition to other feature in ai1 app, Canara Bank closed the Canara Saathi app and Web Portal w.e.f. 15-02-2024. Customer can manage credit card details seamlessly through ai1 App with extended features!
