No.12/7/2023-JCA dated 18th January 2024 have informed that the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha at Ayodhya will be celebrated on 22.01.2024 across India and to enable employees to participate in the celebrations, it has been decided that all Central Government Offices, Central Institutions and Central Industrial Establishments throughout India will be closed for half day till 14.30 hours on 22.01.2024.

Further, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India vide F. No.1/41/2003-BO.II dated 18.01.2024 have informed that the above said DoPT’s order shall, amongst others, also apply to Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks to enable employees to participate in the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha celebrations.

In view of the above, Canara Bank shall remain closed for half-day (till 2.30 pm) on 22.01.2024.
